:: we celebrated ryan's first father's day with a summer fun packed weekend. after tahoe, we drove straight to casa de awesome for a campout with the familia. fancy steaks and epic sunsets.
:: my favorite part about camping is the morning. waking up in a hot tent and camp stove breakfasts. finn enjoyed waking up tante em by poking her face. poor tante.
:: cards and presents. ryan was a happy camper. and finn was tuckered out.
:: we spent most the time in the pool - finn was fan. and mama abernethy even arranged for a little camp craft! that clever lass.
:: after our campout, it was home to shower and then off to casa de kool to watch the end of the us open and enjoy a little cookout. i love pops' bbq. finn couldn't get enough of great grandma phyllis and mimi even shared a bottle of rombauer with us! it was a pretty fabulous way to end our weekend.
i am surrounded by smart, hilarious, kind and fun fathers every where i turn. my own, my father-in-law, my grandpas, and now, my mister. finn and i are so lucky and grateful.
