and i could not have been more thrilled to meet this little one.

and this mama...what a beauty. 

we are different in so many ways: she keeps an accurate checkbook register - i hardly even know what that is. her trunk is spotless - mine is a black hole of clothes, beach blankets, trash. her babies have well-established routines at age two weeks and we have....well, we are still working on that.

instead of dividing us, our differences just give us a good reason to giggle. we love each other so. and we both always wanted nothing more than to be mothers. which is a similarity that conquers all.

and now she is a mama times two!

she is my breastfeeding guru...my baby boy hand-me-down goddess...my sister cousin friend.

and hunter joseph, we are so happy you are here. you may be tiny, but mighty you are. you arrived and just like that, you completed a family.

you and finn are going to have loads of fun together. maybe a bit of mischeif too.

and i can't wait to watch it all unfold.
