we were so excited to do mommy and me swimming lessons with christy and dylan this summer! i mean, everything is better with friends, right? christy found a class halfway between us in davis. it was perfect.
could you just die over these boys in their swimming outfits?! and oh my goodness, finn in that lifeguard hoodie will make my heart melt for the rest of my days.
we even had a few fans in the audience! oma, grandma great, tante hannah and baby jacob came to cheer us on one day! finn was so excited and kept trying to impress them with his new "skills".
the last two days, we took the boys off the diving board. i would like to say that finn eagerly jumped off when prompted, but it was more like just tossing him off and hoping for the best. regardless, we were pretty proud mamas!

even though we wrapped up swimming lessons a month ago, finn still talks about it so fondly. he sings the songs, practices in the bathtub, and when we ask what his swimming teacher's name is, he says, "her name is rose". its one of the funniest things he says to us. we laugh every time.
