henry's first week at home

finn holding his baby brother on his first day at home.  and he even had a little gift for henry.  a sweet, squeaky elephant.  (thanks, oma)

we thought these relaxed, stretched out legs deserved a photo.

erika loves my babies so good.

the Kelly's and great-grandma phyllis came by for a visit!

these two, plus em, made life so easy after bring henry home.   we are beyond lucky.

 

first bath!  he is a fan.  so far.

i mean, seriously.  isn't this the cutest?

i had one dream about him when i was pregnant.  a) he was a boy, and b) he had dark hair. 

 

check and check.

nothing like watching grandma great with these boys. 

finn is so enchanted by her.

so am i.

 

he was on his way out the door to run errands with tante and i just had to take a picture.  he is suddenly so grown up.  and he is most certainly giving me a run for my money these days - but he always finds a way to make me laugh again - even when i just want to scream.

 

the trampetti boys came for a playdate!

cuddles with christy.  and now, there are four boys between us!

these boys couldn't have been sweeter with henry.  they were gently patting him, kissing him, whispering...we were dying.

this babe is such a joy...easy to read, easy to please and just generally easy-going. not to mention, real cute.

excuse the mouthful of grapes...just focus on those jolly baby blues.

we actually made it out of the house for the fourth of july! and on time!

 

our first outing as a family of four.

hard to beat a good parade.  oma and papa really came through on this day (like every day) - they helped chase and keep finn real happy.

 

he loves it here...he just gazes out the window at the dancing leaves and light. 

 

when he is in the right mood, of course.

she makes me smile too.

 

my boys were so excited for this visit, a playmate for finn and cuddles from auntie dee and dinha for henry. 

 

 pretty much a win-win.

 

 

 it was a good week.
