we had a small party for finn this year.... family and some of finn's little friends.
this year it was REALLY hot and finn went without a nap (two party downers). but we still managed to have a blast celebrating our big little two year old!
margaritas and grandma's popcorn always help a party along...
spoiled (and so lucky) again.
oma and papa surprised finn with this amazing - envisioned by oma, executed by papa - sandbox. which three weeks later, has already consumed finn's attention for HOURS! and of course, i also love how cute it is. i mean, stripes!?!?!
on the menu: pulled pork, green salad, cole slaw, baked beans, kettle chips and watermelon.
grandpa and grandma pat traveled from idaho to spend time with our family...what a special treat.
everyone knows our boy so well...tractors, fire trucks, helicopters, trains, sand toys, puzzles. and they know me too; cute clothes, books, a toy vacuum, and a booster chair!
we were so happy baby jacob was here!! he won the cute contest.

the next morning, finn woke up to all his new toys and it felt like christmas .
i love the day-after-party.
and lastly, our sweet, sweet two year old. with that face that nearly breaks my heart every day.
